INTERNATIONAL: On 29 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,798,452 Covid-19 cases, this includes 303,490 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,262,157 people (144,071 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,839,111 people (51,213 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,746,833 people (31,392 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,217,287 people (21,647 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,680,985 people (31,632 deaths)
- Myanmar: 530,000 people (19,260 deaths)
- Singapore: 278,409 people (825 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,469 people (3,010 deaths)
- Laos: 107,740 people (342 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,461 people (98 deaths)
